Customer service is key at Tech Hub. As such, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to this role. You should be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and make them feel at ease. A high standard of written communication (mainly by email) with colleagues or existing/potential customers and maintaining good, polite and calm telephone manner is also very important. This is a fast-paced and varied role, working across the education and corporate sector. You will need to demonstrate that you can keep calm under pressure, assess problems quickly and efficiently and deliver successful solutions to our customers. A proactive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under your own initiative is required for this role. You must have excellent time management skills and be able to cope with multiple, competing demands on your time. You will be required to produce quotations, proposals and place orders for customers, as well as follow internal administrative processes to complete documentation. We’ll need you to demonstrate a thorough and accurate approach with excellent attention to detail.

Vacancy – Senior IT Technician (closing date 06/08/21)

We’re excited to announce that we’re expanding our business! As part of this expansion, we’re looking for an experienced Senior IT Technician to join our team.
The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver high quality IT services and project manage complex IT installations for customers of Tech Hub (North West) Ltd. You will be working mainly within the education sector, making on-site visits according to a scheduled SLA; however remote and ad-hoc/emergency work will also be carried out. Support will also be required for corporate and domestic customers.. You should have significant experience in IT within an education setting such as a school or college.
This is a fast-paced, varied and challenging role. You will need to demonstrate that you can keep calm under pressure, assess problems quickly and efficiently, delegating to and leading junior members of staff where appropriate. A confident and professional attitude, and the ability to lead and work as part of a team, is required for this role. We’ll need you to have excellent time management skills and to be able to cope with multiple, competing demands on your time.
You will be required to produce quotations, proposals and place orders for customers. Therefore, you should have a thorough and accurate approach with excellent attention to detail.
You will deal with customer queries via telephone, email and a support ticket system from our customers across the education and corporate sector. You will also make site visits to customers’ premises to maintain their IT networks, resolve issues and scope out installation works. Customer service is a top priority at Tech Hub, therefore we need someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients to make them feel at ease.
A full, clean UK driving license and enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
