Who are we?

Tech Hub was founded in 2008, and quickly developed a reputation for delivering a personable and dependable service, which strives for excellence in IT services and support.

We are a small, friendly team of six based in Carnforth, specialising in Educational IT – counting for 90% of our operations.  Since partnering with our very first school back in October 2008, we’ve worked hard to build and enjoy lasting relationships with over 40 schools across Lancashire and Cumbria.

We offer tailored solutions, using the most up-to-date technologies, to ensure our schools’ individual needs are met effectively and within budget. We pride ourselves on the care taken to ensure our solutions work seamlessly and reliably, enabling staff to focus on educational priorities.

Our team has many years of experience and are qualified in all areas, giving our schools direct access to an array of specialist expertise. Our passion for IT in education means we keep up to date with the latest innovations and developments in the field, which can then be delivered into our schools. The collective knowledge force of our company allows us to provide a solution for every scenario.

What happens next?

Typically we would want to visit your school, listen to what you and your colleagues have to say and have a good look at the existing infrastructure.

We would usually consider things like:

  • Your goals and objectives
  • Quantities, type and age of the IT equipment, including server, wireless infrastructure and software
  • The size of the school, both physically and in terms of number of staff/pupils
  • The level of staff expertise in school

We would then provide you with a clear proposal of how we can help you to reach your goals.

Technician Support Pricing 2020/21

Weekly Support – £3753 (38 x 3hr)
Fortnightly Support – £1886 (19 x 3hr)
Monthly Support – £1040 (10 x 3hr)
Ad-hoc Support – £36 (hourly)

What is covered in the visits?

As long as we are supplied with tea and coffee, our technician visits are not limited in any way! We will use our time to advise, maintain equipment, solve problems, train or install new gear.
